Rev Dr Johnny Kumar

Director of Undergraduate Studies; Lecturer in Biblical Studies

Johnny was born in England, where he studied at London University. He worked as an intelligence officer for New Scotland Yard for several years and was a Crime Scene Investigator before that. Johnny moved to Australia in 2005 and started theological studies with Alphacrucis (then Southern Cross College) in 2008. Johnny and his wife, Celeste, taught Biblical Studies and Theology at Alphacrucis for over 12 years.

Johnny and Celeste have four beautiful children. They are both pastors with the ACC. Johnny has recently completed his PhD and Celeste is in her final year, so as you can imagine, they both have their hands full!
