Rev Dr Susan J Tam
Honorary Postdoctoral AssociateSusan recently completed her PhD with Alphacrucis University College, which investigated the lived experiences of women in leadership in ministry.
Susan's diverse interests focus on her commitment to creative and strategic engagement at the intersection of research, leadership, women's issues and community development. In addition to serving in multiple leadership roles in the church since 1990, she developed national policies and international testing standards for pharmaceuticals, spearheaded and wrote policies for community development, led Vaughan UnLeashed for the successful implementation of the first off-leash dog park and was managing director for an NGO that upcycled textile waste into reusable menstrual products for women in developing countries.
Susan is a member of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, where she serves as the chair of the Diversity Committee. She is also a founding board member and secretary of the Canadian Pentecostal Library.
