
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Content Producer to capture, produce, and communicate compelling stories that reflect the mission, people, and impact of Alphacrucis University College.
This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role, with an expectation of four days per week working on campus and one day working from home. Working within the President’s Office, this hands-on role focuses on filming, editing, and writing high-quality content for digital and social platforms. The Content Producer will partner closely with the Chief of Staff, who oversees storytelling strategy, voice, and final content approval.
Key Responsibilities
Video & Multimedia Production
- Film and produce high-quality video content including interviews, events, short features, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Edit video content for social media, web, and internal communications
- Capture supporting visuals such as b-roll, photography, and ambient footage
Writing & Digital Content
- Write short-form content including social media posts, captions, headlines, summaries, and mini-blogs
- Develop brief scripts or talking points for filmed content
- Translate complex academic and faith-based narratives into clear, engaging, human-centred stories
- Adapt writing style for different platforms while maintaining a consistent voice
Story Development & Collaboration
- Execute the content calendar and storytelling priorities in collaboration with the Chief of Staff
- Identify story opportunities across students, alumni, staff, and partners
- Incorporate feedback constructively and efficiently
Brand & Content Quality
- Ensure all content aligns with approved voice, tone, and messaging guidelines
- Maintain consistency across video and written outputs
- Organise and manage digital assets and written drafts
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in multimedia content creation, storytelling, or digital communications
- Strong video production and editing skills
- Excellent writing skills, particularly for short-form digital content
- Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-trust environment
Skills & Competencies
- Experience writing for social media and digital platforms
- Photography and basic graphic design or motion design skills
- Experience supporting senior leaders or executive communications
- Familiarity with digital analytics and performance metrics
