About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to support and maintain our core infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments.

This is a flexible part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys variety—combining infrastructure engineering, support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide Level 2 (L2) support across infrastructure and workplace technologies
• Manage and optimise servers, networking, and cloud environments (AWS)
• Support system security, monitoring, and upgrades
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve systems
• Assist with infrastructure projects and integrations
• Support staff and students across multiple campuses

Tech Stack

• Hyper-V, Dell servers, Ubiquiti networking
• Fortinet & Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs
• Active Directory & Azure AD
• AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM)
• Veeam backups
• Windows Server & Linux (Ubuntu)

About You

• Experience in IT infrastructure and support environments
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
• Knowledge of networking, cloud, and security best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
