
About the Role
Reporting to the Advancement Director, you will be responsible for developing, cultivating, and securing major partnerships with churches, ministries, and aligned organisations.
You will build trusted relationships with senior pastors, denominational leaders, and Christian organisations, helping to generate significant investment in Alphacrucis’ mission of raising leaders who transform neighbourhoods and nations.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship & Portfolio Development
- Manage a portfolio of churches, ministries, and organisations
- Build and steward relationships with senior pastors and Christian leaders
- Lead strategic conversations to strengthen long-term partnerships
Church Partnerships
- Grow a national network of church partners
- Develop structured partnership programs
- Strengthen engagement across Pentecostal and broader Christian networks
Organisational Giving
- Build relationships with foundations and mission-aligned organisations
- Develop proposals aligned to scholarships, research, and ministry training
- Prepare partnership agreements and impact reporting
Fundraising & Growth
- Lead partnership and funding conversations
- Manage pipelines and maintain consistent engagement
- Track and report on partnership activity
Representation
- Represent Alphacrucis at church events, conferences, and leadership gatherings
- Communicate the mission and impact of the College effectively
About You
You are a relational, resilient, and purpose-driven professional who thrives on building meaningful connections.
You will bring:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Confidence engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders
- High emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Resilience and the ability to navigate complex or challenging conversations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Willingness to travel nationally
Desirable:
- Experience in fundraising, partnerships, sales, or ministry environments
- Understanding of church or faith-based organisational contexts
- Background in Pentecostal or similar ministry settings
Faith & Cultural Alignment
This role requires a genuine alignment with the Christian mission and values of Alphacrucis University College.
The successful candidate will:
- Be actively engaged in a local church community
- Be willing to obtain relevant ministry credentialing (costs supported)
- Demonstrate an understanding of church and ministry environments
Work Environment & Benefits
- Full-time, permanent position
- Hybrid working model:
- Sydney: 2–3 days in office
- Melbourne: 2 days in office
