School Relationship Manager

About the Role

AC is seeking a School Relationship Manager to lead engagement with Christian schools and grow school leaver enrolments across Business and Education.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role that requires both strategic thinking and direct execution. You will develop a comprehensive school engagement strategy and personally implement it, while managing key relationships across faculties, marketing, and state directors.

This role does not have direct reports, so you must be comfortable working independently, setting your own goals, problem-solving, and taking initiative to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities

School Engagement Strategy

  • Develop and directly implement a comprehensive school engagement strategy in partnership with AC leaders.
  • Set priorities, translate strategy into actionable initiatives, and manage resource use.
  • Take ownership of outcomes, ensuring strategy drives measurable engagement and enrolment growth.

Relationship Management & Outreach

  • Build, manage, and sustain partnerships with schools and key stakeholders.
  • Represent AC at school visits, careers expos, conferences, and other engagement events.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for priority schools.
  • Collaborate extensively with School of Education, Marketing, and State Directors to align initiatives.

School Leaver Recruitment & School Growth Opportunities

  • Lead initiatives to increase school leaver enrolments.
  • Promote AC’s courses in Business, Education, Ministry/Theology, and other areas.
  • Deliver presentations, webinars, and follow-up communications.
  • Promote professional development opportunities for school staff (e.g., Grad Cert Coaching & Mentoring, Theology & Education programs).
  • Raise awareness of partnership models such as teaching schools and early childhood internships.
  • Ensure smooth handover to Marketing and Admissions based on school/student interest.

Planning, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate records of engagement activities in CRM systems.
  • Track engagement and pipeline metrics and report on progress.
  • Recommend improvements based on data, trends, and school feedback.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the Christian school sector, ideally with existing contacts.
  • Proven experience in school engagement, recruitment, or relationship management.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute initiatives hands-on.
  • Comfortable working independently, setting goals, and problem-solving without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of school leadership structures and key decision-makers.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (remote and on-campus).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital engagement tools is a plus.
