Outcomes
- Identify a range of variables relating to population and development, and describe the patterns and trends they show, both individually and collectively
 - Develop an original composite index of development, including both theweightings of its components (with explanation) and the Christian ethics underpinning it
 - Apply the composite index to a country, and then compare the development of that country when viewed through single- factor variables and other composite indices
 - Critically reflect on the adequacy of indicators of population and development
 - Compare and contrast the ways in which the demographic patterns, demographic structures and levels of economic development in a range of countries differ
 - Analyse in detail the causes, types and patterns of migration in diverse countries
 - Critically review the relative impacts (both positive and negative) of migration on thedemographics, economic development, and ethical responses (Christian and secular) of diverse countries.
